by Kranky on Nov.24, 2009, under Release News
‘ANOMALY’ is excited to be able to present the release of their fourth EP – the ACROSS THE TRAX EP! This release sees the legendary DJ Pilgrim joining Anomaly’s ranks to bring you two fresh new heavyweight tracks.
ANM004-A: Pilgrim – Across the Trax
Pilgrim’s first track on Anomaly, ‘Across the Trax’ first kicks off with a cheeky introduction, paying homage to the sounds of the Old Skool. By merging atmospheric pads, dubby kicks, classic Old Skool samples, dark hoovers, heavy sub-bass, breaks and bongos, Pilgrim’s ‘Across the Trax’ will take any dance floor on a voyage deep into the roots of the Jungle Tekno sound while at the same time bringing these sounds up-to-date.
ANM004-B: Pilgrim – Retro Vibes
‘Retro Vibes’ is a track with a solid purpose – to take audiences on a trip into the past, while at the same time reaffirming the relevance and originality of the original Jungle Tekno sound, and bring those sounds back on to dance floors where they rightly belong. Pilgrim’s masterfully crafted ‘Retro Vibes’ is guaranteed to make the hair stand up on necks and give audiences goose bumps.

ANM003 Speedball EP – Out Now!
by Kranky on Nov.10, 2009, under Release News
‘ANOMALY’ is proud to present the release of their third EP – the SPEEDBALL EP! This instalment of Jungle Tekno madness includes two very contrasting tracks by Anomaly stalwarts “Lethal” and “Requiem”.
ANM003-A: Lethal – Speedball
Going from strength to strength with each release, Lethal’s latest track ‘Speedball’ is no exception, and is what can only be described as a sub-bass monster of epic proportions. Incorporating the meanest of basslines and the lowest of frequencies, with an infectious riff, heavy drum breaks and dark tear-out hoovers, ‘Speedball’ will desecrate any dance floor sending crowds into a frenzy.
ANM003-B: Requiem – Fear Factor
Successfully recapturing the old-skool Jungle Tekno vibe in style and bringing it up-to-date for a modern audience, Requiem’s latest track ‘Fear Factor’ is nothing short of a masterpiece. Combining funky rolling breaks layered over slamming kick drums, rave stabs, gorgeous atmospheric pads and smooth piano chords, this track is set to get the energy on any dance floor flowing.
